The strike affecting the top two leagues in Spain has been resolved meaning matches will go ahead this weekend.
The opening weekend of the Spanish season was postponed due to an ongoing dispute between the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) and the Spanish League (LFP) over the issue of unpaid wages.
The AFE want a guaranteed fund to protect players' wages in the event of a club being declared insolvent.
A number of Spanish clubs are struggling financially and the AFE claims around €50million (£43.7m) worth of wages remain unpaid.
A deal has now been struck after the league guaranteed €50 million owed to over 200 players in unpaid back wages and reached an agreement to allow players to be released from their contracts if wages were not paid.
A statement on the AFE website confirmed the matter was now resolved.
"The committee of the AFE and LFP have reached an agreement that ensured, through various means, the salaries of footballers," it read.
"After the meeting today between the AFE and the LFP, the strike scheduled for Friday August 26, Saturday August 27, Sunday August 28 and Monday August 29 is off."

Manchester City new boy Samir Nasri claims a lack of transfer activity at Arsenal convinced him that the time was right to move.
The France international completed a switch to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, following a summer of speculation regarding his future.
Nasri made it clear early on that he was looking to make a fresh start, with contract talks shelved at Arsenal.
He is delighted to have joined a forward-thinking club, and one that can match his ambition.
The 24-year-old admits that he was left questioning his future and that of the Gunners towards the end of his stay at Emirates Stadium, and believes he had no choice but to look elsewhere.
Nasri told L'Equipe: "Why did I not sign a new contract with Arsenal? We started talking in October but by June I did not have any news and I didn't see anything happening in the transfer market. There comes a time when you have to invest.

"I have heard people say I have moved for money. I make a good living at City, that is true, but I am 24 years old and I have reached a turning point in my career and it was important that I joined a club with ambition.
"I believe I have more chance of winning titles at Manchester City than at Arsenal."
Nasri added: "When did I make my decision? Early in July, when we returned for pre-season. I told the coach (Arsene Wenger) that I wanted to leave.
"Is it a risk joining Manchester City? You have to take risks in life. I am not afraid to do so.
"There is a big squad here but competition is good, it makes you push yourself and stops you from becoming stale.
"Was that the case at Arsenal? Maybe."
Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has revealed he would be interested in joining European champions Barcelona.
The Catalan giants have been linked with the Dutch flyer, although the 27-year-old insists no bid from Camp Nou has been forthcoming.
The former Real Madrid and Chelsea winger is aware the club wanted him in the past, but has heard nothing recently from Barca.
Robben is more than happy at the Allianz Arena and does not want to side-track himself about speculation regarding a possible move.

"Barcelona are the only club where I would say: 'If they're interested, that would be a fantastic option'," he told Sport Bild.
"Whether they have ever made an offer for me? No, not as far as I know.
"There was something going on about three years ago, but they never made a bid. I'm not speculating about a summer transfer, though.
"I'm feeling very well here and am happy at Bayern. Don't go writing that I want to join Barcelona, because that's not the case."

The draw for the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League group stage will take place in Monaco on Thursday.
Ten play-off winners join the 22 automatic entrants in the group-stage draw at the Grimaldi Forum, with the 32 sides split into four seeding pots and one from each drawn into the eight groups. Seeds are based on Uefa's coefficient system and no team can meet another from the same association.
The Premier League will be represented by Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal following Wednesday night's result against Udinese.
Alongside the draw there will be a presentation made to Uefa's Player of the Year, with 2011's top performer to be crowned.
Subject to late changes we'll also be speaking to Uefa president Michel Platini at 9am, while chief football reporter Nick Collins will be live from the Grimaldi Forum from 12pm.
